OVERCOMING OVERTHINKING
I am your friendy mentor and I am here to give some tips to overcome your
overthinking.
Now, the question is why do we overthink ?
Causes of overthink: worries about future, social cause, negatives thoughts,
excessive stress, loniless- led us toward overthinking.
Disadvantage of overthinking -
A overthinker face problems such as: unable to concentrate or remember
things,tension in shoulders and neck , digestive issues and this is overall
affect the health.
Tips :
Below are several tips you should use it to overcome your overthinking:
1.Study on yourself: First step is to be find out when you are think of dull and unproductive thoughts.
2.Threat your thoughts: Ask questions to yourself why are you thinking so much ? Will you be able to become something in the future by unproductive thoughts?
3.Engage yourself: When we are free, our mind goes towards thinking. So engage youself in physical activity like walking, running, playing sports, etc.
4.Practice mindfullness: Start doing meditations, breathing exercise, yoga, etc. to encourage mindfulness.
5.Limits your thinking time: Make a conscious effort to redirect your thoughts.
6.Give rewards: Do some productive work daily and reward yourself after you do. Rewards like chocolate, reading new books and anything else you like.
7.Forgive yourself and others: Sometimes we overthink things because of others.
We feel bad about some person, if someone treated us badly, then we keep thinking about him/her and get depressed. So before sleeping forgive yourself and others.
Overcoming overthinking is slowly process so trust on your process and celebrate every little victory.
